DAF Lab – civic society established in 2007 by Lucie Marešová, Marie Silondi and Jana Pospíšilová, the young designer stylists with years of experience in the field of design, fashion and art. During the years of works, the three could not avoid obstacles for the most part represented by the unsettling empty spots not only among disciplines but also among generations, forming in the main the impervious and unapproachable communities.
DAF Lab’s objective is to fill up these gaps and become a link, a stepping-stone or just only a piece of experience among D for design, A for art and F for fashion.
The society wants to offer a support for young artists in the development of their artistic diversity with the emphasis on their creativity and especially with regards to balancing the influences of commercialism that prevail in the field of design as it seems.
By organizing new-technology - new media – performance – theatre-together-with-design-art-and-fashion oriented culture-social events, DAF Lab would like to support and provide for mutual interdisciplinary cooperation. That process would be to create the general public’s access to the new information on the branches within the field of cultural and design experience. All that at an international standard…
